What does God do when he shows his love for mankind? He gives extravagantly and sacrificially!
This is an incredible truth especially when we consider the world around us! A world that is in turmoil and much of it is the result of living according to our sinful desires.
Paul reminds us that as we live by faith, we have the sure foundation that Christ was the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He took our place on the cross so that we would experience the grace and goodness of God in our lives! We are assured that Christ became a blessing to those who believe.
As we received the promise of salvation through faith, we have also been given the Spirit of God by faith. The same Spirit that filled and empowered the church of Acts to turn the world upside down has been given to us! All it takes is for us to have faith that the Spirit is available and accept His work in our lives.
Today, may we take a moment and that God for the overwhelming gift of Christ that paid our debt of sin. May we accept that the Spirit is at work in the lives of believers for such a time as this.
What we are seeing in the world today has not caught God by surprise. He knew that what this world needed was you, as a believer, that would make a difference in the lives of people by offering them, Jesus!
Let the Spirit lead your interactions with others today. Share His love and grace to the world around you. The Spirit will do His work through you to impact others for the Kingdom!
