Meet Chad

Hello! Thank you for checking out my blog! I appreciate the fact that you took the time to browse the various links on my site! Let me share a little about my life.

I was born in Oklahoma and raised in Eastern Colorado and Western Kansas. My whole life has been lived in rural communities and I am thankful for the quality life and relationships that it has afforded me. It has been a tremendous blessing, which has given me a unique perspective on ministry and leadership.

One of the best decisions I ever made was to marry my bride Nyree, while we were students at Central Bible College. We met while singing in the Revivaltime Choir and I have been singing her praises ever since! She is the love of my life and I am so thankful I have the opportunity to be her husband.

We have two daughters, Anna and Miriam who are both in college at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Anna is an Intercultural Studies student and will graduate very soon! Miriam is a Psychology student and plans to try to figure out what is wrong with her dad!

I have a Masters Degree from Mid-America Christian University in Organizational Leadership and plan on returning to college to earn my Doctorate sometime soon. This program gave me the distinct privilege of learning leadership principles from a variety of sources in the business world as well as the church. This unique perspective has served me well throughout my ministry and life.

It is my honor and privilege to serve the Oklahoma District of the Assemblies of God as the Church Ministries Director with a tremendous leadership team. This position keeps me quite busy with responsibilities such as the Oklahoma School of Ministry, Men’s Ministries, Light for the Lost, Senior Adult Ministries, Rural Church Ministries Network, Disaster Response, District Affiliated Churches, and serve on the Presbytery.

While serving the OKAG during the day, I partner with ministry leaders through coaching, teaching, preaching, and writing. It is my vision to encourage, strengthen, and assist the ministry leadership of the church to accomplish God’s will for their lives, ministries, and churches. I am grateful for the opportunity!
