by Scripture:
“For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.” — 2 Corinthians 1:20 (ESV)
Reflection:
God’s promises are sure and steadfast; they find fulfillment in Christ. When I hold on to His promises, I can be confident that they are “Yes” in Him. My response is to say “Amen,” agreeing with His will and giving glory to God. Whether I see the fulfillment now or waiting, I can trust that God’s promises will never fail.
Action Step:
I will find a promise in Scripture today that speaks to my current situation. I will pray that promise back to God, saying “Amen” in faith, trusting He will bring it to pass in His perfect timing.
Prayer:
Lord, I thank You for Your promises, which are always “Yes” in Christ. Help me to stand firm in faith, trusting that Your promises will be fulfilled in Your perfect timing. I say “Amen” to Your will and give You the glory for what You do in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
It begins with Christ!
