Surrendering Stress: Embracing Christ’s Peace and Gratitude

Scripture:
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.” — Colossians 3:15 (ESV)

Reflection:
A lot in this world can disturb my peace—conflict, stress, uncertainty. But God calls me to let the peace of Christ rule in my heart. This means allowing His peace to govern my thoughts, emotions, and actions, even during chaos. When Christ’s peace rules in my heart, I can face any situation with a calm assurance, knowing that He is in control.

Action Step:
Today, I will consciously invite the peace of Christ to rule in my heart. When stress or anxiety arises, I will pause, pray, and let His peace take over. I will also make it a point to be thankful, recognizing God’s goodness in my life.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I invite Your peace to rule in my heart today. In every situation, help me pause and surrender my stress to You. Let Your peace govern my thoughts and actions. I also choose to be thankful, recognizing Your goodness in my life. Thank You for Your constant presence and peace. In Your name, Amen.
