God is actively working in the world today and He is intricately involved in our personal lives. The most important element that He is a part of is in forgiving sins and keeping us in Him. His priority is for us to spend eternity with Him and can only do so as we commit ourselves to serve Him. God is faithful to us and will never fail us in His eternal purposes for our lives.

God’s plan for us is an eternity with Him. He is faithful in forgiving our sins and securing our salvation through Jesus!

God is actively at work in our lives to protect us from temptation. He gives us a way out every time the enemy attempts to lure us away from our relationship with God. But what happens when we don’t rely on God and give in to sin? John tells us, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 (ESV)

The good news is that not only does God forgive sin, the Bible tells us Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” Jeremiah 31:34 (ESV) God has promised to forgive and release us from shame and guilt!

God has promised to forgive, and He is faithful to do so.

God is not only faithful to us in forgiving but in the ability to secure us in Him. Paul says, And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6 (ESV) God is faithful to preserve us until Jesus comes back for us!

“There was once a boy whose dad left him on a downtown street corner and told him to wait there until he returned in about half an hour. But the father’s car broke down, and he could not get to a phone. Five hours went by before the father managed to get back, and he thought his son would be in a state of panic. But when the father returned, the boy was standing in front of the corner dime store, looking in the window and rocking back and forth on his heels. The father threw his arms around him, apologized, and said, “Weren’t you worried? Did you think I was never coming back?” The boy replied, “No, Dad. I knew you were coming. You said you would.””

God will always be faithful to His promises to us. God is able to overcome any circumstances that this world may have and will keep His word. Always. With simple faith, we can say with all of our hearts, God is going to do it because He said He would!

It begins with Christ!
