It is so important for the believer to maintain a strong faith in God. Faith is a necessity for salvation as well as the catalyst for receiving the blessings of God. Therefore the believer must resolutely commit to totally trust God in order to be strong in faith.
The Bible is full of hero’s whose faith was exemplary. They serve as examples which we have the opportunity to emulate in our own lives. As we read about the circumstances they face, while maintaining faith, we are personally challenged!
Paul shares one such example in Romans of a man named Abraham who believed in the promise God made to him despite the odds You can read Paul’s summary in chapter four.
But it’s Paul’s description of Abraham’s faith I want to focus on. He said, “No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.” Romans 4:20–21 (ESV)
Having solid faith is not just a decision we make, but a constant connection to the heart of God. It allows us to believe for and receive answers from God for direction and provision. Regardless of the circumstance, God has an answer for your need!
Before you call upon Him, he has an answer. Whenever you are praying to Him, He hears. As you share your heart in faith, He works in His omnipotence to accomplish His will. Trusting Him with the outcome is the key!
With faith we can please God, overcome the enemy, and accomplish Kingdom priorities. Prospering in spiritual blessings begins with strong faith in His work in and through our lives.
Believer, maintain your faith in God, because without it, you cannot obtain all that He has in store for you. For all things are possible for those who believe!
It begins with Christ!
If you don’t know Christ as your savior, it all begins with the first step. Committing your life to serve Him is the greatest decision you will make in your life! Finally, for more information on serving the Lord: CLICK HERE!
