In a world driven by success, wealth, and accolades, it’s easy to get lost in pursuing material gain. Yet, Jesus poses a poignant question in Matthew 16:26, urging us to reflect on what truly matters.
Our souls are of infinite value, far beyond anything we can acquire or achieve. The temporary pleasures and treasures we chase often distract us from the eternal joy and peace in a relationship with God.
Today, take a moment to evaluate your priorities. Are you investing in things that nurture your soul, or are you caught up in the fleeting attractions of the world? Remember, no amount of worldly success can replace the priceless worth of a soul devoted to Christ.
🙏 Prayer: Lord, help me to see beyond the allure of worldly gains. Teach me to value my soul and seek a deeper, more meaningful relationship with You. May my life reflect the eternal worth You’ve placed in me. Amen.
