📖 “And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, ‘If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.'” Mark 9:35

Devotional:

Jesus teaches us something amazing in this verse! To be truly great, we must be willing to serve others. This means putting others’ needs before ourselves and helping them with kindness and love. Imagine if everyone helped each other like this – it would be a much better place!

Action Steps:

  1. Help a Friend: Offer to help a friend with their homework or chores.
  2. Show Kindness: Say something nice to someone who seems sad or lonely.
  3. Volunteer: Find a way to volunteer in your community, like helping at a food bank or cleaning up a park.
  4. Listen: Take time to listen to someone who needs to talk, showing them you care.

Prayer of Application:

“Dear Jesus, thank You for teaching us to serve others with love. Please help me put others first and be kind and helpful every day. Show me ways to make a difference in my family, school, and community. Amen.”
