Scripture:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 (ESV)
Reflection:
It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of life, worrying about what I’ll eat, wear, or how I’ll pay the bills. But Jesus tells me to seek God’s kingdom first, to prioritize my relationship with Him above all else. When I do, He promises to take care of everything else. This doesn’t mean my problems disappear, but it does mean my focus shifts to what truly matters, His will and His righteousness.
Action Step:
Today, I will begin my day by praying and reading God’s Word, seeking His kingdom first and foremost. I’ll trust Him to provide for my needs as I focus on His righteousness.
Prayer:
Father, I know you are the provider of all we need to live abundantly in your blessing and favor. I trust you with the circumstances of my life and that you will take great care of me. Calm my fears and concerns about tomorrow, knowing my life is in your hands!
