“Enough! You’ve corrupted justice long enough, you’ve let the wicked get away with murder. You’re here to defend the defenseless, to make sure that underdogs get a fair break; Your job is to stand up for the powerless, and prosecute all those who exploit them.”

Psalm 82:2–4 (The Message)

There is no doubt that God loves people! From the very beginning, mankind has had a special place in his heart. But this heart of love is more than just words, it is the action that he takes every day to show us how much he loves us!

This love that he shows to us should spur us to love others and care about what they are going through in their lives. Especially those who are defenseless, underdogs, powerless, and victimized. For believers that are filled with the love of God, we must pass that love on by taking action.

What could you do today to show the love of God to those who are victimized by the world?

Prayer

Father, give us hearts of compassion to see those who are hurting. May we see people as you see them, sheep without a shepherd. Pour your love into us and remind us of how great that love really is. In Jesus Name, Amen.
