Taking a moment to stop and consider all that God is, it’s hard not to praise him!

We can praise him for his goodness, his sovereignty, his control over the weather, his justice, and his daily provisions for each one of our lives!

When we consider his absolute power and Majesty, it is hard for us to do anything other than praise him!

The Psalmist said: Psalm 135:13 (ESV): Your name, O Lord, endures forever, your renown, O Lord, throughout all ages.

As a member of the body of Christ, we have had a transformation in the priorities we carry with us every day.

Instead of caring mostly for our immediate wants and needs, we care about serving the Lord that redeemed us and walking in obedience to his will

Political leaders will rise and fall, culture will shift from one truth to another, yet God will endure from generation to generation.

Because of this, as believers, we must focus on passing on to the next generation the incredible gift of salvation that we received.

What are you doing today that is sowing into the generation that follows you? Who is the new believer that you are investing your faith in? Are you investing your life into theirs? Will you begin engaging in conversation with them?

They can take hold of and run with a baton of faith only if you hand it to them. But handing it to them is only the first step! Discipling them strengthens their resolve in serving the Lord!

May God grant us a change of heart that longs for the next generation to not only receive salvation but to carry the name of Jesus to unreached people around the world.
