Be mindful about what you allow in! The decision to eat a healthy diet has benefits that affect both the body and the mind. When we chose to eat those things that we know are good for us, we feel better about ourselves and have a different perspective on life in general.
The Bible teaches that we are to chose a healthy diet in all areas of our lives. It tells us to “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” (Proverbs 4:23) When we guard what comes into our lives, we produce springs of life that not only impact us, but those that we are in relationship with each day.
Because our lives reflect what we allow into our hearts, we must be careful to guard what we listen to, read, watch, and who we hang out with.
God help us to guard our hearts through your Spirit so we can become conduits of the springs of life!
