The past two years have been overwhelming for all of us. There are so many things that are happening that make life uncertain. Yet the foundation we have is not found in this world, it is established in our Heavenly Father.
Paul reminds us that as we live by faith, we have the sure foundation that Christ was the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He took our place on the cross so that we would experience the grace and goodness of God in our lives! We are assured that Christ became a blessing to those who believe.
This psalm is a great reminder that when things get dark and our adversaries are overwhelming, we need to go to the source of light and truth!
Going through a constant barrage of troubles and difficulties in this life can lead to overwhelming feelings. Fears, anxieties, and discouragements can cause us to wonder where God is at. Yet, the Psalmist gives some insight into the prayer of faith when we feel alone.
Finding Joy in the midst of difficult circumstances can be hard, even in ministry. How do you maintain your joy in spite of the circumstances? By looking at what God is doing inside and outside the church we can maintain a new perspective on the trials we face.
